"Songs To Inspire Worship"

There is no other record out there like this one. No other praise & worship album goes to such lengths to make one want to praise or worship. The songs are simply beautiful, with masterful string arrangements and brilliant vocal arrangements. A brainchild of the members of Dove Award winning & Grammy Nominated band The Choir, this is a meditation on the trinity -- and there is a "trinity of trinities" present, so to speak. The first of these is obviously Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but then there are the three orders of the Mass -- Kyrie, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei. And with a modern spiritual take on the trinity, there is Clouds, Rain, and Fire. Special guests abound, including Phil Keaggy, Bob Bennett, Mark Heard, and Mike Roe from the 77s. Notable is the country-influenced Victoria Williams, Julie Miller, and Buddy Miller trio on "Sanctified." The classic hymn "My Redeemer Lives," featuring Mark Heard.“Beautiful Scandalous Night” became a new staple for Choir concerts and has since been performed in churches around the world during the Easter season.
